On my new bike for this race, Yamaha YZ250 2009, and was looking forward to racing the two days. I was fairly steady on Saturday with consistant test times but just off the pace, I was running the standard suspension as mine was waiting to be serviced and after a chat with Kurt we decided to make a few tweaks on sunday morning. This seemed to make all the difference and i managed to take nearly 25 seconds out of a 4 minute test which was much more competative. It was a great race to finish the british championship. Ash Wood and Ollie had a great battle on both days and it was a lot closer than the report suggested. Thanks to rich, rob and daisy in the pits all weekend again and running to and from the tests.
