Well after months of planning we were finally going, My registration document arrived at 12pm on the day we were going which was very lucky although we did have a back up plan. We left Ollies house at 3am on wednesday morning to catch the ferry and 7 hours driving the other side and we arrived about 4pm. We set the pits out and generally had a look around and looked at one test of three. Thursday was bike testing day and all the tests to walk 3 in total. The bike was running good so was ready for fridays scrutineering. Friday was signing on and scrutineering which all went fine, then on to walking the tests again which I must say were looking very tricky with massive hills and trials like sections, The sun was shining and if it were to stay like this it would be a great race. Saturday morning arrived in no time and we left our house and the rain started which concerned me as the tests were tricky enough especially the extreme test. It rained all day and the going was hard, I lost time but stayed in my 30 mins, unfortunately for me I had checked into the wrong colour gate on one of the checks which meant I was disqualified from the results, why they needed three different colour check gates all next to each other is beyond me but there were so that was that. Back to the house for some sleep after our 13 euro dinner and ready for tommorrow.
