Venue: Sailisbury

Result:  7th Championship

I was looking forward to this race as my mate has been raving about these events for ever and saying how good they were so it had a lot to live up too. I had a walk round the the track and it appeared to be very much a single line in the woods and not much room for passing and the field sections, which there were lots of were just very fast straight lines so keeping up with the big four strokes was going to be hard. I got off the line ok in about 5th but dropped a few places on the off camber corners to follow, down to about 10th, there were about 45 riders on the front line so not too bad. I had a frustrating ride all day, just kept getting caught in traffic in the woods, I would try different lines and there would be riders in the way on those too. It was an ok ride but I never really got into it. Again the course was ok but in my opinion far too many riders for that venue. A bit dissappointed but it was the same for everyone I suppose.
